Great jacket, runs a bit big. Could have sized down to S but I like the room for layering.

This has become my go-to transitional piece. Packs down small for travel too.

Construction
Ripstop nylon is military-grade. The diagonal weave pattern prevents small tears from spreading. It's lightweight but durable, perfect for outerwear that needs to last. One piece of abuse and you're not replacing the whole jacket – it resists catastrophic failure.
The DWR coating makes water bead up and roll off instead of absorbing into the fabric. It's not waterproof – this is a coach jacket, not a rain jacket – but it handles light rain, drizzle, and spill situations. The coating lasts through 50+ wash cycles.
The mesh lining keeps you from getting clammy. Sweat doesn't accumulate – it evaporates through the mesh. This prevents the "jacket on, sweat soaks everything" problem. You can wear it comfortably in transitional weather.
Despite the durability, this jacket packs down to almost nothing. You can compress it into a backpack, travel with it, carry it in a car. Weight barely registers. Function without burden.
Water Resistance
Tested in simulated rain conditions. Repels water for light rain and drizzle. Not tested for heavy downpours.
Tear Resistance
Ripstop weave tested. Small tears don\'t propagate. Jacket remains intact after multiple stress tests.
Snap Button Durability
Metal snaps tested for 1000+ open/close cycles without failure or loosening
Seam Strength
All seams reinforced. Tested to withstand 40+ lbs of force without failure
Metal snap buttons instead of zippers. No jamming, no breaking, no maintenance. Just snap and go. This is old-school reliability.
Welt pockets are low-profile and secure. They won\'t rip under stress. Reinforced at the entry point for durability during repeated use.

Care
Nylon is forgiving. Treat it right and it lasts forever.
The Advantage: Nylon doesn\'t decay like cotton or wool. This jacket can last 10+ years. It won\'t fall apart. It just becomes your reliable layer.
Heritage
The coach jacket comes from 1970s America. Professional sports teams issued them as team wear. The design is timeless because it solves real problems: light but protective, structured but packable, works in transitional weather. That functionality hasn't changed.
Metal snaps don't jam. They don't break. They're one of the most reliable fastening mechanisms ever created. While zippered jackets fail, snap button jackets keep working. It's old-school reliability that proves itself.
Streetwear took the coach jacket and proved it works anywhere. Not just on basketball courts. On the street, in cities, in real life. URBAN EDGE respects that history while refusing to gimmick it up. It's just a good jacket.
The Coach Jacket is proof that great design is timeless. No trends. No logos screaming for attention. Just functional, proportional, and appropriate. It works in 1975, it works now, it'll work in 2050.
We keep it pure. Snap buttons. Mesh lining. DWR coating. Welt pockets. Nothing unnecessary, nothing missing. That's URBAN EDGE design.
